Wolves (extended haiku)

by Shadow and Flame   Nov 10, 2008

Shadows of the night
Lithe dark forms of graceful ways
Singing to the moon.

Singing solemnly
Their songs of saddening days
Cause the world to mourn.

They care for their young
And honor the elderly.
Gracefully as stars.

Living as wonders
Even in death remember
Love and honor all.
