Promise

by Tara   Nov 11, 2008

Dear love,
We both made a promise to never stop loving each other
Also to never let go of each others hand
Because if we did, love would never exist
We made a promise to never let each other fall
Even when we thought we would stumble and crash
The other would always catch and save them
We made a promise to love each other no matter what
If someone or something tried to break us apart
We would get through it
I never cared to get trouble because of you
Nobody wanted to see us together
Everyone wanted me to move on
I shall and never will listen to them
We made a promise to say I Love You as much as possible
That promise never broke
I've always loved you so it never was a problem
We made a promise to kiss and hug and hold hands
My very first kiss was with you
The first time I ever held hands was with you
You were the first guy I really hugged
We made a promise to never break our promises
Well here is my promise to you
I will love you, no matter what

Great poem, and very sweet. First loves are always the sweetest.
