Curtain Calls Red

by StandStill   Nov 13, 2008

The lights go down,
set the scene.
Remember all
that you have been.

Don't forget,
the lights are high.
Say your lines,
just one more time.

Smile, love,
it's just a phase.
You'll outgrow it,
few more days.

Time is ticking,
curtain's red.
It's just a sickness
in your head.

You can beat it,
just run away.
It's all forgettable,
survive today.

Slit your wrists,
forget their love,
the lights still shine
too high above.

Spot light now,
where is he?
Your prince charming
in this scene.

Hate to tell you,
hate to say..
he was never coming
to save the day.

It's just a poem,
we all die.
Curtain drops.
Wonder why?

**Twloha tomorrow...i'll write something more positive later. I'm just remembering right now.**
