Grief (Mirror Sestet Non-Rhyme)

by Sylvia   Nov 13, 2008

Head and heart hurt, pain;
pain fills my heart and head.
Lungs will explode, cannot breathe;
breathe, in and out, expand your lungs.
Indescribable pain, I want to scream.
Scream, the pain is indescribable.

Deep and poignant distress, please stop;
stop, please, such poignant distress, so deep.
Sadness, regret, anguish, feelings abound;
abound with anguish, regret, such sadness.
Grief, will it ever end?
End, go away, leave me alone Grief.

    I admire the pun in you. Even a sad write, there is joy somewhere. I like the way you uses words. Great write and meaningful, kel.
