I thought you were lost
and I let myself drift and fade
with every day another painful

Until the day
the day I gave in
as my world was about to end
I went to you and all those words
all those memories rushed into me
as I rushed into you as you accepted my kiss
with those familiar lips

As we pulled away
though my hurt was starting to sway
I wouldn't allow myself to say
I'll love you always

But then you looked into my eyes
those beautiful golden eyes
another flow of love and memory
and the slip of a verse
"I love you my little angel"
though your still across the street
it feels as though its lost its beat
