Don't look me in the eyes And tell me what it's like to die inside You tell me there is no real truth Then you say it like you know what's right Don't look me in the eyes And tell me you know it all Until you watched someone stand on the edge Until you've watched them fall Don't look at me like what I believe Is a stupid thing I do When you see the slits from emptiness Then tell me believing can't save you Don't look me in the eyes And tell me everyone dies inside Not the kind of dying you do when your dead The kind when you're still alive Don't look me in the eyes Like what I believe is just me lying Until you've seen it save a life I've seen it stop the dying
