So they tell me I'm going to be a mommy
How excited that makes me feel
I'm going to surprise and tell your daddy, act like it's no big deal
My belly is growing and growing, only four months along
I sit here acting like I'm sleeping
While your daddy sings you a song
Today is the day they tell me what your going to be
How excited your dad and I both feel
They say your a girl, wow this feels to good to be real
Now I know a girl your going to be
I thank you God for giving this precious gift to me
Your here and allot of me I can see in your face
Asleep you lay in my arms
The love I feel impossible ever to erase
Were going to try and be the best parents anyone ever had
Know that we'll always love you
And being our daughter won't be all that bad
