There Was a Girl With Brilliant Eyes

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Nov 16, 2008

There was a girl with brilliant eyes
When she stared you down you'd think you'd die

The way the light slips through her hair
When she stared at you, you'd think she'd burn you there

There was a girl, they found her dead
They gathered around with a bible and read

There was a girl who got so sick
She pulled a straight razor down her wrists

There was a girl, could have had it all
Took a knife and watched herself fall

well. wow. i like how short and simple it is, that it's in couplet form. it's more powerful that way.
