Poetic Rebellion.

by Phantasmagoria   Nov 17, 2008

We will celebrate under the election of a black president, but we will STILL laugh at the cripple in the corner, justifying any wrong because all we have to do is SAY we need diversity. Claiming to be a part of the Revolution -- you close your eyes and ignore the Humble man because sparing change is "too big" an effort. But there is Love painted on the sidewalks, THREATENED to dissipate beneath the soles of those "Righteous". We will see it, struggling to be lifted, but many will walk on by with impudence staining their lips, because those words were grown into our consciousness long ago, and some WILL sprout their seeds in the next generation. But Love can be lifted if we look through the prejudice, and spit the vestiges of Hate from our truth.
