Another Chance Please...

Standing before me asking for
A second chance to be dearest friends again
In disbelief of what is happening
I am speechless, my mind blank
But as I slowly catch my breath

"No" are what comes out of my mouth
Tears start to swell upon from your eyes
"You think that is going to work on me,
Crying is not going to work this time."
I hate to do this but it better of this way.

As I walked away...you whispered
"I love you" the Goosebumps run through my body
Pausing in my footsteps, breathing in slowly
As I turned around grasping my chest
My very heart starts bleeding before your eyes

You tremble as you see my face
A broken hearted, betrayed and lonely person
Stands before your very eyes...
"How can you say that without meaning it?
You are just...like everyone else who said they cared...
Carelessly and abusing those three words"

Not knowing how much it hurt me
You apologize and try to make it right
But the damage has been dealt
And nothing you can do can fix the pain in my heart
You minus well stab me again, but this time in the front

Walking away again, this time forever
The distance between us grew even further...
BANG BANG BANG!!!
Turning around hoping you did not do what I think you did
But you are still standing there perfectly yet still crying

Confused as what is going on...
Then feeling something wet running along my arm
My heart is bleeding, this time the pain is a physical pain...
Collapsing down to my knees, approaching me
You say with watery eyes, "I'm sorry...I'm...so sorry Ki..."
