Alone

A poem called alone
Alone in defeat
The smell of burnt wood
Snow breaks under your feet
With every step you take
To get you somewhere you don't know
To get you to someone
Who doesn't love you

The bitter winds
The moonlit sky
Shining silver on
The passers-by
Under the halo of a cold street lamp
There and all alone
Giving light for the lost souls

A poem called alone
A subtle twist on something loud
The pen keeps breaking
Blood and ink on the ground
With the simplest words
A new pain breaks unknown
With the simplest words
Can make you feel alone

The bitter winds
The moonlit sky
Shining silver on
The passers-by
Under the halo of a cold street lamp
There and all alone
Giving light for the lonely roads

^^ It sort of feels like that's where we all are going, wesse. we're just moving forward, into the arms of something that doesn't want us...i hate feeling that way..

    you're never alone...
