Fire and Brimstone

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Nov 19, 2008

I remember a love like ours
The heat of our hands melted the snow
When we kissed we let the world go
In fire, In brimstone

I remember a sunny day
You would complain about the heat
So we went outside and turned music on
Slow dancing in the street

I remember the glow of the sun
As it broke into blue inside your eyes
They pierced through the normal of every day
I remember them like stars

I remember a love like ours
A love like that is all you know
When we kissed we threw the world away
In fire, In brimstone

^^ i love this line, jesse. it's so pretty. and like the person above me said, the use of fire and brimstone was so you. hell and damnation association in a love poem...sort of what love is anyway. i got a couple of meanings out of it. *shrugs*

Interesting use of fire and brimstone, I have never heard it used for romance and love, very creative.

The flow was good ant the message was amazing.

    5/5 for creativity
