From Where I Live

From where I live,
the moon and sun
they shine together
with everyone

The clouds and trees,
they move together
bringing the leaves
along with the breeze.

And I just can't let go... (3x)
From where I live...

The people I see
they laugh together
under the sun
I see them smile.

The creatures that fly
they soar beside us
up in the sky
is where we'd meet

But after a while
the sun had faded
slowly dark'ning
both day and night

The clouds grew gray,
the trees all dead;
not a little flower
grown from the dead...

But see, I just can't let go... (3x)
From where I live...

The people I knew
they now cried together
under the rain
I'd hear them weep

The creatures that flew
they disappeared
flying off to
where they could live...

Years passed by
with my life fading
under the rain

Everyone's gone
