Out of my comfort zone

by kelleyana   Nov 19, 2008

Once in awhile in the middle of an ordinary life,
I stop beyond the realm of what I know
And look at my current dilemma,
Its sparks a thought and lights my way through making me wonder how and why I deceive myself about feelings and situations

Should that be stored in the back of my mind?
Or should it be revealed?
Going through the motion of life, but not really living,
My inner being asking for an introduction to myself
Feeling so conflicted, not dearing to take a hard look at myself and asking the same question, am I capable of doing better or would I be happier doing something else

Thinking about others, thank goodness, I'm definitely
More fulfilled, not because of what others have that I don't things I don't spend time worrying about

With the recent increase of happiness and comfort surrounding me, thoughts overflow my mind about choices and mistakes I've made,
yet I learn to go from where I am, to where I want to go, creating a new me.

    This one's a really good one =)
Its a great topic to think about, and so much time can be taken up just thinking a small topic discussed in your poem.
It has left me so much to think about, and I am happy others care for you and have encouraged you to write poems about certain topics/events.
    Well done!
    keep it up =)

Now you get it why I challenged you? Look for yourself what you have done. Its no less than the bestest poem of yours. In fact you even made the readers think about getting out of their comfort zone.

I had kept the comments for you to be shown on this site. What you have created is something that you wouldnt have created if you had not taken the initiative. This topic was not challenged by me, but you challenged yourself! Be proud of yourself because you are winner all the way. You have successfully compelled everyone to think about themselves.

Lastly, a true winner is not the one who knows her external enemies and defeating them. In fact, a true winner is the one who knows its inner weaknesses and has learnt to conquer it. Hail the Winner!
