To catch the heart of lovers' poem;
To dig the roots and stretch the skies;
To pray for angels, saints and fathers,
Above a grave, therein, you lie.

From trodden lands to heaven's doorstep,
To count the memories we made,
For that old heart that sings the hyme,
To wrench the path of thy heart's decay.

I vow to hold your hand forever
until the end of time, my love
thorns may cross our paths, so be it
I will not repudiate our bond, my dove

Making memories as we go
Along life's path, souls intertwined
No stronger force than love is there
Your heart in my hands enshrined

Dearest darling, keeper of my heart
I vow to forever be your humble servant
And to live my life in devotion to you
With God as our silent observant

For there the ink sets words to paper,
And lover's gift of choice is done;
Where beauty overlapses time -
"That which is done, cannot be undone".
