E.R.

by Kristen   Nov 20, 2008

White walls close me in,
about twenty people sitting down,
family members by their side,
here because somethings wrong.
They get up when their name is called,
family members follow, wondering what the doctors might say,
one by one names are called,
finally my turn,
room four,
curtain closed,
questions asked,
television on,
where is the doctor?
what is really wrong?
blood drawn,
urine tested,
whats next? a catscan?
but why? kidney check,
finally doctor says kidneys are fine, your not pregnant, all it must be is back pain.
got here at eight now its three,
seem like its been forever,
but its only been seven hours.
no where else to go except finally home,
thank god, i never wanna go back to the e.r.
