This is a very sad poem indeed i even read it twice...but however i'm not too sure when u said

My best friend loves the perfect guy

this sounds as if he's gay which contradict the whole poem cause thoughout the poem u were saying that he is with someother girl...

You broke my heart and don't even know.
I'll give you a hug and hide my sorrow.

It must have been hard for you having to keep your feeling from him

I'll pick up the pieces and try to forget.
And pray for a guy that I have not met.

I love the way you end it...trying to forget the things that meant so much for you and hope that for Mr Right whom you never met would come for you...
