Crystal Tears

by SashaMirage   Nov 21, 2008

You said my love meant the world to you.
And if it were to be priced...
It would be so expensive.

Like a gem so rare waiting to be discovered.
You mine away leaving a hole in my heart.
Determined to sell my love.

The stream that flows from my eyes is so pure.
You could be a rich man indeed.
Will you dry my crystal tears?
Or will you sell them?

This is a sad poem indeed i can feel the deception that you've faced thru the 1st stanza.

It was great how you describe your heart being broken with the metaphor in the second stanza

The hanging ending was a great way to end the poem as the question has yet to be answered

    great work

This was a sort of okay poem for me. It wasn't something that blew me away, but it wasn't something that let me down either.

I feel that the flow was off throughout the poem, that you couldn't match the syllables through most of the poem. I felt that it was one of the poems that I was torn about.

I felt that you didn't just use adjectives to describe how the situation was, but rather you described it, I think that is one of the best parts of this poem, it really shows how talented you are when you really exert yourself.

    Nicely done.

    Sasha,

a liquid form of love, a pricless love, a love so rare that who could actually afford such a treasure..answer, nobody, because it is given freely and cannot be bought, let alone forwarded onto another.

You have managed to create a lovely piece, which flows freely, posses great imagery and leaves the reader with an unanswered question..bravo!

    Well done
