Fighting gravity

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Nov 21, 2008

When we aren't together
I can't help but drag my feet
Trying to fight gravity
I'm about to face defeat

But when your lips brush mine
I'm on the verge of floating away
But then I remember by your side
Is where I'm meant to stay

When I see your angelic smile
The stars are just a breath away
I could stare into your eyes
For forever and a day

Gravity may be pulling me down
But with your fingers laced through mine
We will remain floating here
Until the end of time

That had to be my favorite line. It was a really good poem, like all the rest.
