9/11

Daddy went to work one day
And Never came back
Why did daddy leave me?
Why didn’t he turn back?
Daddy was a firefighter
he had to help the others..that’s what he had to do
But what I don’t understand is
Why didn’t he help me to?
I wanted him to come home that night
And tuck me into bed
but that wont happen anymore cause now daddys dead
daddy will never come home now
Cause on that gloomy, dreary day
A plane Crashed into the towers
i hope those guys will pay
I miss my daddy so very much
i really wish he was here
I still remember his very last touch
He kissed me on my forehead
stroked my hair softly
And told me to go to bed
He promised he would see me that following night
But then Daddy broke his promise and he had to fight
So daddy wont be coming home now
It hurts to much to say
I will always miss you daddy
ill miss it when you call me Tay..
And I will see you when the time is right
Cause Daddy didn’t come home
On that 9/11 night
