Quick To Lie, Fast To Deny

by Lady Nik   Nov 24, 2008

I always thought you were the only person I knew to be completely real. Until I realized you couldn't feel. You can't feel other people's pain. Which makes it easier for you to lie to my face. It's like you're a robot with hollow parts. You're a sad person with a poisoned heart,

For months I believed you, But now I see the lie behind all of my wasted time. Wasted time on the phone. You promising you'll love me forever and more. Don't let me stop you, keep feigning, because we all know you have no identity.

Everything you say is a lie. I see now there was never a truth behind those eyes. These scars on my arm, come from your razor blade of a tongue. I thought I was worthless. Now I see the real you. The you that's loveless. All I have to say is we know the truth, you can no longer hide behind your lies.

    I agree with Dreaming

That line caught my eye and made an impression. Amazing.
