Familiarities

by Timothy S   Nov 24, 2008

These harsh times have too many familiarities
Sparking the old thoughts that brought this revolutionary
Looking at the paths crossed, the weight that's more than I can carry
But still carried on along the silent wake of this life I'm married
Up and down, around this endless cycle that only seems to vary
From bad to worse, somedays just lucky, because happiness is scary
Used to be optimistic at first, now only the contrary
An opportunist at birth, the title given but only seen rarely
I was born with this curse, no reason for life to treat me unfairly
If you could only hear the heartbreaks, for me they're blaring
Resonating my ear drums, so tragic in clarity

I LOVE THE WAY YOU EXPRESSED YOURSELF:

But still carried on along the silent wake of this life I'm married

    ..........because happiness is scary

If you could only hear the heartbreaks, for me they're blaring
Resonating my ear drums, so tragic in clarity
