A Thousand Bits of Broken Words

by Nawa   Nov 24, 2008

I have words for all the confusion that I am feeling

I have words full of regret for each day that I have knew you

I have words for all the memories that I miss,
words made by smiles but incarcerated by tears

I have endless words that could define you,
but they are all spoken with disappointment

I have tuneless words harsh as the pain you caused
and the wounds you have stirred

I have words of prayers to heal,
from the scars you have left open

I have words stuffed with love that turned into hatred

I have countless words for you withered soul,
but you deserve to hear none

All what you will get my bleeding love is a lasting silence that is enough to drive you insane.

I have countless words for you withered soul,
    your*

Stick some periods in there too. :]

This was really really really good. I loved the style of it. You did a terriffic job. This has to be one of my favorite nonrhyming poems I've read in a long time. Five out of five for sure.

This is a wonderful piece of work you have written here. The hurt and pain can be felt in the words you have expressed. May your heart once again be filled with peace and joy.

I like this poem but I found the repetition to be a bit much. Other than that the rest of the wording was great. The flow was also good. I gave this poem a 5/5.
