The Snowman

by BornAgainWriter   Nov 25, 2008

When your world has crashed into shards of glass-
What do you do? Really, what can you do?
Your taking in as much brutal pain as you can,
Snowflakes fell last night; lets build a snowman.

Purple gloves and a yellow hat covering your ears,
The transparent cotton clouds are hoovering over,
Smirks come and go from that pretty little face,
As we search to find our snowmans birthplace.

The sun is playing hide and go seek with us today,
Trying to relate with our emotions-awfully uncertain,
Stumbling in the snow ditches; finding the perfect spot,
Right here in the middle of the brown forest lot.

Talking about how life did us utterly wrong,
While making a round ball for the bottom,
The snow is so beautiful and white but icey cold,
Angry and sad emotions you share begin to unfold.

Now making the head to this cold tall snowman,
Tears running away from whats hidden in your eyes,
"Oh, dear one, please tell me what's bothering you-
I'll take the pain away; it'll hurt for just a few".
