Faceless Love

Never have I seen your face nor heard your voice,
they are only images in nightly dreams.
For certain that is not by choice,
as my breaking heart screams.

Hope will live forever in my heart,
that someday we will be together.
Never again to be so far apart,
for I will never love another.

Life dictates that you remain,
my silent and faceless love for now.
Emotions that bring such sadness and pain,
fill my soul and that I will not allow.

    I can't pick a favorite stanza because the whole thing was just amazing.

    Well, I'm glad that you have hope in your heart, that's truly all you really need.. and that makes me happy that you do have hope. This poem.. was great.. you expressed yourself very well and clearly. Great write.. 5/5. Simple, but you said what you needed to and it was done well. Great work.

    Sometimes dreams and dream lovers ar far better than reality.
    I can imagine you wanting to meet that man, but maybe it would be a major dissapointment!
    Just imagine..you can have him with you and being perfect in any way forever!
