The Lighthouse of Life

by Nia Warfeld   Nov 27, 2008

The light house of my life is fading by time,

So slowly it's treasured like wine,

Flickering a dark moment like night,

When is your last flight?

See it from anywhere, your life doesn't lie,

The probability is a bird failing to fly,

Your sins are stained in the clothe of truth,

Innocence pending of the value of youth.

100 years a wish for some,

But why if it's not with anyone?

If the only promise in life is death,

How will we know when we take our last breath?

The lighthouse of our life ending in time,

When before mortality reaches it's line?
