Glass Beauty

by Nia Warfeld   Nov 28, 2008

The flawless face, the features of a goddess,

Excusite color, delicate bodice,

The grace of an eagle in the sky,

Beauty that makes the jealous blind,

A competition already won,

A purer soul there is none,

Velvet string is her hair,

The way it flows in the air,

But her glass life is falling,

The immortality stalling,

As she falls she starts to cry,

The light is fading from her eyes,

While she sleeps they pray she awoke,

But it's too late the glass is broke.
