Leave and let live

by pam   Nov 30, 2008

Having removed all

tangible love trace

i retreat here to meditate

in my ethereal space

coveting lost innocence

amongst dead verses

searching for feelings

to deal with numbness

listening to heartbeats for clues

taking solace knowing

it was what you always wanted

and finally ready for too

decisively cutting it off

exponentially nullifiying

the discord of propensity vs reason

will vs procrastinated inaction

the tormenting flashes when you fell

the demon within which you tried to quell

lug a love weighed down by predicament

calling it beautiful ...

loving you, letting go

my decison is anything but light

a disembowling of guts

not quite the transcendental

soul cleansing sutra you prescribe

just a cleaner cut with antiseptic

liberally applied
