Screamed it To the Mirror

by StandStill   Nov 30, 2008

It's funny how you screamed it
when you were trying to hate me.
I never really had to try,
I was just born this way.

Every once in a while,
I get this rabbit hole feeling in my head
and I get sucked up,
falling faster and faster.

Nothing is right ways,
everything is side ways.
Where are the stars,
Oh, where are my stars?!

There are mirrored rooms inside of my heart,
and they torture me with a gaunt expression...
I can't see it through the diamonds in my eyes,
but you've told me it's there.

Oh, how did I love you so!
Brilliant emerald is the grass of the other side.
And once we've touched it to our lips..
how quickly it shatters into oblivion.

Love bloomed down my tired arms
but even roses fade with time.
Nothing makes much sense right now..
funny how you screamed it..
