Death
A friend
I've never
Feared or ran from
Just a truth that lives
A mind that can't fathom
Nothingness, oblivion
Clinging passionately to life
I will stroll though, into the darkness
Death but a step behind me all the way
I will cast him a smile to let him know
To make me feel better about it
Finding only him in the end
Blind faith owns all beyond there
I prefer open eyes
Accepting my end
Living a life
Worthy of
Having
Lived
