IL DIE THERE ONE DAY

by emily mackay   Nov 30, 2008

The smell of the air
whizzes past my nose
the frosty cold feeling
tingles between my toes

I look in the mirror
& try and smile so it looks real
pretend its okay
but thats not what i feel

Im the person who sits in the corner
praying for the pain to stop
watching each second fade away
hearing the rain... drip drop

I sat on my wall today
the bridge is also so near
the leaves on the floor
my head is my fear

The world carries on without me
they walk past as i slowly fade away
i sit there so lost inside
knowing il die there one day.
