Vindication and Redemption

by brie kelly wise   Nov 30, 2008

We always avoid the cost that eats us away
It seems to me we've become too frail to think straight
What made us so beautiful was our self righteous fate
We chew on the very strings that fall apart day after day

It's these very conditions that we live in and somehow
They always appear to prove us wrong
Here we go again, around and around
Times like these call for redemption

Originally, we thought it was completely senseless
You're beside yourself, I'm wishing I never left
The bottom of our hearts are a hysterical mess
And still, the blame is always a panic-stricken test

It's this very state we live in and somehow
It always arranges itself in between our lives
Here we go again, up and down, down and around
Times like these call for vindication
