Closing off the world

I love the "if i close my heart to the world, no one will ever hurt me"

Agreed. But it's so hard for meh to close my heart off from the world. :/ Although this poem is short, it is strong and I real it's fact. Even if we close our mouths, close our eyes, and close off our hearts, people still see us. They still talk about us. And some people just want to be let in so they can rip your heart out and might even try their damnest to do that.. And that'll get to be an annoyance... I'll never truly understand what possesses a person to hurt another for no reason... But we hurt someone somehow at least once in our lives... I should probably shut up now. 5/5. Good poem:)
