I spent five years after a break up living in the past and wanting what I had lost back. Life sometimes never gives you what you want though through my years I have been very lucky with what it has given me. Your poem reminded me of the unreality I fell into and the feeling of loss and want that makes even getting up a chore to face another day, it took my caring kids to bring me back and an encounter with a female in the country I now live to change that. This poem is what I like about good poetry it is though provoking and filled with emotion and feeling excellent 5/5 Ray S
