Now That He's Gone

by Hawaiian Chick   Dec 3, 2008

My life means nothing without him.
Everyday I wait to see his face,
and everyday my heart drops when my eyes are empty.
My soul is wounded for loving him,
yet I am no one if he isn't there.
That look he gave me, gave me the world,
the golden pedestal on which I stood,
and now that he's gone I am empty,
and I feel the world laugh at my face.
I now pay the price for our moments,
yet I'd pay them again at full break,
If only I could relive the moment,
and see that last look on his face.
