I see the hatred disappear for a second and the love return.
I see the pain subside and the guilt lift off her shoulders.
I see the person she was and not the person she turned into.
She goes out on a limb and offers a hand that she has held so close to her.
She opens her arms and wraps the around him keeping him safe.
She closes her eyes and says a prayer to who ever is listening and asks that they wont take him from her ever again.
She watches him just lying there, not able to mutter a word.
She watches him blink his eyes as hes coming around to this world.
She watches him look at her with that look that she hasn't seen in so long.
She tells him, that everything will be ok.
She tels him, nothing will change, but most of all
she tells him the most important words he wants to hear and thats I love you and always will.
