Me, my oreos... But where are you?

by Brittany   Dec 3, 2008

Sitting here with my Oreos
And you are on my mind
Our song is on the radio
And this is most unkind
I'm playing it myself
Because it reminds me of you
It's on my projectplaylist
And I listen to it when I'm blue
I look at your myspace
Whenever it becomes too much
I just stare at your picture
Remembering our every touch
I hear your voice in the airport
In restaurants, on the train
I remember you serenading me
As I go dancing through the rain
I imagine you lying next to me
In bed late at night
I smile when I consider
The way we never fight
I miss you today
Like I'll miss you tomorrow
Without you in my life
It's become a mess of sorrow
I can't go anywhere without seeing you
In the faces of a stranger
So please come back to me
For I am in danger
Will you be the hero
To my lady in distress
I need to hear you say it
So I can put these hopeless dreams to rest
Tell me that we're over
Please tell me that it's through
Because my life has been a drag
Since I've started loving you
