It came alive once we met
It died once you left
I tried showing what you meant to me
I guess I failed, I couldn't see

I can't just turn and walk away
But I hope you come back someday
In it, I know it wasn't right
It always hated when we'd fight

It told me you were a friend
It said our friendship wouldn't end
I guess it was wrong
I guess it's not that strong

Although I wish it was right
It was always in a state of fright
