Touchless Friend

by RainbowSlider   Dec 6, 2008

Friend, I couldn't get in touch with you, today.
But I liked what your voice messenger had to say.
Was nice to hear your voice; It made me feel OK.
I am sure we will meet, again; Just not this way.

Because when I can't touch You seem to me less real.
Surely You know exactly about this touchless feel.
No reason for alarm though; Its really no big deal.
But then our friendship I didn't want to conceal.

Just wanted You to know sometimes I think of us.
So if you don't reply its really not a big fuss.
Maybe when we are together, again we can discuss.
Know You have apologized; Sorry we have in surplus.

Just get so used to being together during the week.
That during the weekends when we don't really speak.
Get this funny feeling that something doesn't tweak.
It is like something is missing; Something I seek.

This great big hole in my life; Could it be You?
Have tried to psychoanalyze it; Just makes me blue.
Have tried to rationalize it; What else can I do?
I am still trying to touch my touchless friend, too.
