Silent

As I sit here all alone,
I hear no words, no one's talking.

My mind starts to wander here and there,
but all my thoughts are silent.

I can't hear his words, playing in my mind,
nor the whispers or the tears.

I only see the expression on his face,
and the pained stabbing in my heart.

I scream, but no hears me,

I lie, but no one cares,

I say that I don't love him,
but that, to me, is silent.
