Brick-dust

by Matt   Jun 9, 2004

---Written about two friends of mine, who are no longer friends with each other---

Brick by brick the wall breaks down,
Piles of rubble that were a town,
Together they were string and stood up high,
Apart they crumble; apart they die.

Cry for crumbled towns!
Cry for things broken down!
Let the tears run down your face,
The things you lose, you'll never replace.
