MEANT TO BE BROKEN

There's nights I cry myself to sleep
I prayed it's my soul he would keep
You were proud of all you did
Then you decided to play with my heart
And all the time it takes to heal
Is tearing me apart
I gave you my all
Which made me have a further fall
All the pain still remains
I will never be the same
Love isn't meant to be thrown around
It's now something one must gain
Now I know the rules of love
Were made to just be broken
Confusion is all that's ever spoken
I've heard that love is pain
I believe they're one in the same
I just hope and pray
Someone can take my pain away
Maybe he'll show what true love is
With my first true loves kiss
But the rules still remain broken
My pain is a prison of my own heart
It was there when love began
Cruel intentions you had in mind
I couldn't comprehend
Why did you chose me
Why did you make me cry
Everything you said was a lie
Why was my heart taken
I know the rules of love; meant to be broken

    Wow, good poem. The rhyming was a little uncordinated, but it still flowed really well. I loved the topic and i hope you feel better...remember guys arn't worth your tears and the one that is will never make you cry.
