Self mistaken betrayal

by KatastropheKay   Dec 9, 2008

Time stands
still lasting
ever so long
driving her
beyond impatience
creating an aroma
like no other before
so sweet yet bitter
all the result
of what that one
mistaken day
one year ago
when he said those
three little words
"l love you"
which she took
for granted
and fell into his
thorn filled arms
only to find
another MONSTER
waiting to break
her to shatter her into
a thousand pieces
as if her heart the
red silhouette lining
of the glass heart
of the mannequin
laying hopelessly
before her bruised and bloody
body he takes all that she once was
and shatters it
before her suffering
eyes her last breath taken in grief her
heart brought to its final
beating once loving
now cold and filled with distraught and
grief to never
trust another
