I've done wrong through the years,
Caused a lot of pain and tears.
But I've straitened up my act,
I've grown up and thats a fact.
No more of this acting bad,
Don't wanna turn out like my dad.
I slowly learned to act my age,
I'm finally out of my "bad a**" stage.
I cook and clean and watch T.J,
Make sure hes happy and that hes OK.
I don't run the streets with all of my crew,
Don't talk back, would never hurt you.
I've grown up, that you have to see,
This past year has had a change on me.
I don't smoke and I don't drink,
Stopped cutting myself over the sink.
I've learned that right is better then wrong,
And that in school is where I belong.
Been single for a year, no more lying boys,
I stopped playing with them like they were toys.
I've grown up and I'm better now, thanks to you,
Thank you Mom for loving me, I love you, too.
