Twilight- A Vampire's Lullabye

by theresadreamer   Dec 11, 2008

You're trying to scare me
And honestly
I'm scared its true
Scared of losing you

Now I understand
The apple in your hand
Its like you're offering it to me
Just like Satan did to Eve
Sweet fruit but from an evil tree
Now I get what you were telling me

And now I understand
The lion and the lamb
Its like right here I stand
Frozen in the palm or your hand
You're the predetor, I the prey
You say run but still I stay

You say its a game you cant win
For you're addicted, I your heroine
And when I walk through the blowing air
Fragrence of flowers fill the air

Twilight comes again
The day is over and night begins

Here we are you and me
Even though all this I know we were meant to be
Here I cry silently
Now I get what you were telling me...

Okay I've got to confess I'm a Twilight fan so this caught my eye, and what followed was amazing! I loved how you used the famous quotes and phrases from the story and merge it in your writing, a delightful read indeed! XD
