How Can This Be

I walk the world God gave us
It's filled with sadness and debree
But on the other hand
There is so much beauty
How can this be?

I use to hold your hand
You were a simple lovely man
But you left this earth
I'm told your in heaven
Watching over me
How can this be?

I use love this life
ANd all that was given to me
But today I barely smile
Because of the broken heart in me
How can this be?

Dreams and hopes are broken
People die every day
God says that he loves us
ANd he gave us this land
But throught the years
All we learned was to fight
How Can this be?

We fight wars in God's name
And children die everyday
They lose they their life
WHen bullets fly their way
How can This be?

Families torn apart
People die from broken hearts
Young die at war
Not knowing what they are fight for
How can this be?

Why would God put us here
Just to only watch us die
Give us everything
And take it all in a blink of an eye
To give us love only to lose
How can this be?

Our world was once beautiful
Now death is all we see
Is this what God intened
When he gave life to me
Why should this be?
