Romeo + Juliet <3

by Jowannie   Dec 12, 2008

He was her romeo, she was his juliet
Their love story is something I could never forget
They were tied together by undying love
In the end it was sent up above

One couldn't be without the other
And when he died, death came above her
She took the shiny mtal blade and put it to her wrist without shame
Her only thought was, this is the end of the game

They both were no more, laying hand in hand
Laying there lifeless in the sand
He was her romeo, she always let it show
She was his juliet, what she did, she will never regret

Very nice. It flowed very well together and the rhyming was very clever. Emotions were strong and came through clearly. But the Romeo and Juliet idea is a little too over-used. Writing your own fairytale, made up, or even using situations from your own life is much more exciting and easier to connect with. They're just a few tips, and I'd love to see you grow as a writer. You definitely have talent, 5/5.
