Beautiful Decmeber day in the winter time,
Snow falling gracefully from the blue sky,
Confused of how I'm going to make this rhyme,
I let the words spill out and honestly I do try.
White snowflakes in the shapes of squares and triangles,
Swarming around my pink tongue, sticking far out in the air,
Eyes closed as I'm listening to folks singing Christmas Carols,
Heading to this anonymous place but I don't know where.
My tongue so wet from the white snowy snowflakes,
Standing still in the middle of the snow covered street,
Wandering what time the winter breeze awakes,
Listening to the sound of my soul's heartbeats.
A beautiful thing, yes indeed,
The lustrous snow falling down,
Loving the breezes speed,
In the Christmas town.
Family and friends happily walking down sidewalks,
Telling jokes and gathering christmas lists,
Safely stopping to cross the crosswalks,
The littler girl pushes and shoves; she insists.
Couples deeply in love with one another,
Standing there hugging each other tightly-
For they already live in their happily ever after,
Together laughing at a little blue birdie.
Walking through this lovely, friendly little town,
Heart fluttering from the love people give,
Feeling accomplished as I made my round,
Around the town for it gives me a reason to live.
A beautiful thing, yes indeed,
The lustrous snow falling down,
Loving the breezes speed,
In the Christmas town.
