Days going by slow, nights even slower
Trying to figure out what all happened
Thinking if this is how life is suppose to be
Wondering why things happen for reasons

Telling me there isn't no longer a you and me
Crying myself to sleep, thinking of all the memories
Wondering why it still can't be there.
Is it the drama that caused us pain, or is it the people who came in between?

Why did we decide to be apart?
Why did we break each others hearts?
Why did we let the haters come in between?
Why couldn't we last forever how we thought it was going to be?

The long nights we had together, still haunts my dreams
This love that we have lost is crushing me
Feeling more weakness on ever step I take
Begging on my hands and knees for you to come back

Now that you're gone, I don't know how to go on
Trying to hide my feelings, pretending nothings wrong
There aren't any more melodies ever time you hear my name
So why did we ruin all our dreams?

*This poem mad me cry when i wrote it because this was for me and my first true love...we are over now becasue we let ppl come in between our relationship and now nothing is the same!*
