Moment of clarity

She tries to move on
she tries to stay strong
but this weight is pulling her down
its forcing her to drown

she tries to get to the surface
but its a never ending chase
she lives her life behind a mask
for a reason she would never ask

as she tries to hold on
she realizes the one she loved is gone
there no reason to keep fighting
when nothing will ever be exciting

she decides to let go
she fades away real slow
she made her life choice
to follow her own voice

her choice was loud and clear
to all the people that were near
living life this way wasn't her dream
she dreamed of her and him forming a team

but theres nothing more she can do
it will never be them two
i guess it was never meant to be
this moment of clarity helped her see
